Purpose
The Data and Technology Subcommittee serves as steward of AFESA’s data framework and technology ecosystem. The subcommittee develops and maintains the strategies, standards, and policies needed to ensure AFESA’s data is accurate, secure, sustainable, and accessible to those who need it.
The subcommittee advises the Governance Committee on data governance strategy and evaluates technical solutions while providing technical guidance to other AFESA subcommittees as they develop products and services that rely on AFESA data. The work of this subcommittee will ensure that AFESA’s data assets and technology platforms remain sustainable, well-governed, and transferable beyond the tenure of its original creators, sponsors, and organizational leaders.
AFESA’s Data & Technology Subcommittee is appointed by the Governance Committee.
