Education Subcommittee

Purpose

The purpose of the Education Subcommittee is to advance the professional development and analytical competency of emergency services personnel through the creation and delivery of high-quality training, mentorship, and collaborative learning opportunities.

The subcommittee is committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that members have access to modern tools, methodologies, and proven practices in fire and emergency services analysis.

Beyond formal instruction, the subcommittee fosters an active community of practice where individuals can connect with peers, exchange proven solutions, and build on lessons learned− helping to shorten the learning curve by leveraging the collective knowledge of the industry.

By staying responsive to the changing needs of the profession, the subcommittee helps ensure that emergency services organizations are better prepared, more informed, and more capable in their mission to serve.

AFESA’s Education Subcommittee is appointed by the Governance Committee.
